It is difficult to feel respected or valued as an employee here. Management is disorganized and does nothing to keep the good employees around. Pay is very low as it is, and expectations are too high. The model they are using to run an agency is flawed.
Flexible scheduling, overtime. Good experience to work with chronic mental health and introduce yourself to group collaboration (therapists, psychiatrists, medical doctors, etc.). Good experience to build clinical writing skills.
Cons
Poor management and no employee incentive. Sure, there's overtime, but there are no pay raises within this position, so whether you've been there 5 years or 2 months you all make the same amount. There is also a lack of care for employees. The place is a zoo, the residents have more rights than rules so attempting to get them to do what they need to is difficult.
The actual work is fairly easy and they are very reasonable with scheduling, especially if you are a student.
Cons
Upper management has lost its ethics, and become hostile towards good employees. Mostly this is fear of state regulations, but rather than look at the big picture, and make positive change, management finds it easier to take no action, and blame employees.
