      Worst place to learn and grow - very political place -

      Pros

      lots of free time balance between work and life you can do whatever you want no control from managers

      Cons

      There is no leadership at all from Senior Managers and they do not know the financial market. The product crashes when IT launches a new version. This is never fixed immediately. Very political place to work No career progression at all MarketAxess loses market share in Europe per minute Old mentality, in order for clients to use the product, they buy clients with expensive dinners and events, instead of improve the product.

      Pros

      -fairly relaxed culture, 8-5 is the norm -good benefits package -recognized brand in the sector

      Cons

      -mostly run out NY, little analysis or development done in Europe -little chance for career development because teams are quite siloed and a fairly small company -they took over Xtrakter/Trax but there's little overlap between the two. There's a lot of potential for shared gains but little has been done

      Pros

      - Excellent at positioning their product in the ever changing world of OTC markets - At the forefront of developing solutions outside of the box - Company has become extremely dynamic with developing unique products with global acceptance -Being there for 7 years, the company has done really well to create a close community between buy side and sell side with good relationships with all sides - The company culture encourages open communication and feedback from staff at all levels. - A friendly, professional and fun environment to work for. - Excellent work life balance.

      Cons

      - Fierce competition in the vendor space so have to be adaptable - Smaller company so job progress a bit more challenged but the new products and dynamic nature of the clients and functionality, compensates
