This lack of transparency and fairness in employee treatment is demoralizing. Promotion Process: Perhaps most troubling is the apparent favoritism in the promotion process. It appears that promotions are based on who can please the managing director the most, rather than on merit. This not only undermines motivation but also hinders the growth of talented employees who may not be in the director's good graces.
