- as it is an EDA company, so less exposure to VLSI technologies compared to product companies.
- quality of work isn't good. you'll learn less about vlsi hardware compared to IP/SoC design/DV in other companies.
So it'll become very difficult for you to switch job to product company or go to MS if you spend more time over here.
- Management isn't very supportive at Various times due to which you might land up in difficult situations.
- Injustice and wrong expectations: Manager also question you on the reason of sick leave and expects you to work.
- they don't even go by their words on offer letter and expects everyone to work more then 60 days in notice period.
- experienced people aren't treated well. Moreover, they don't value your interests/alignment like design folks might be valued less then verification/ automation folks.
- lot of favoritism. No transparency w.r.t promotion/package. There could be Huge difference within a group for same level.
- after Siemens acquisition, culture have changed a lot and various perks also reduced. Also, work load had increased.
- after Siemens, overall policies are not good for employees for long run.
- RSUs are given to very few people at low level or at higher levels.
- compensation is quite less compared to market at same level and competence.
- Lot of attrition because of above mentioned points again causing work pressure.
