-A lot of great people to work with -Management does care about their employees -Most of the site supervisors and operational leads are excellent mentors -Very diverse work environment -Every shift can be an entirely different experience -Networking opportunities daily -Potential for overtime during peak season -Owner is strong in faith based leadership -As a part time employee, the control of availability is phenomenal -Scheduler does a great job on pre-planning work assignments for the coming days and is very informative and quick to respond -Management values the employees that puts forth the effort. Praise in public and criticize in private is used efficiently in this work environment.
Cons
This job is based on needs for construction environments so there isn’t always a surplus amount of hours available for everyone - especially during inclement weather and colder weather months While there is a lot of opportunity for work, the company is still in early stages of growth and unfortunately not a lot of room for lower level employees to grow into lead and management positions as of yet. Makes room for more competition to get to those positions.
