Toxic culture prioritises profit over employee wellbeing
Pros
Work from home and they HAD a really cool concept when they started the company.
Cons
Customer service was consistently poor, and the culture is only driven by profit than by respect for employees or customers which caused constant and almost promoted inner team drama. Upper management is condescending, employees are viewed primarily as $ rather than valued team members or human. Commission earned are always "reviewed" and subject to loopholes for lower or no payout. The office environment was concerning. Very unclean and lacking basic standards of upkeep. Company meetings frequently ran 4 or more hours and felt unproductive, with little opportunity for meaningful discussion. CEO just liked to hear himself repeat simple things and run around in circles. The most upsetting was seeing multiple employees who had met their quotas let go for no reason just before Christmas. That decision had a significant impact on morale and left a lasting negative impression of the company's values. The company only cares about sales not the people behind them. Results mattered more than the impact on employees, customers, or relationships.
