Pros

Air conditioning, soda, basic conditions for human life. Startup-style open office if you're into that.

Cons

No benefits. Minimal salary. Developers expected to work overtime/weekends with no extra pay. Management has no idea how to gauge project deadlines, consistent pressure to have 5 different things done by tomorrow. Witnessed president of company berate a college-aged intern for not meeting unstated requirements on their work. Extremely high turnover rate, nearly no one who knows exactly how the core product works due to arbitrary firings/large number of interns that only work there for a few months then leave. Work outsourced to Albania despite barely being a 10 person company. Main focus of the company is clearly on the sales/marketing end with technology practically an afterthought.

Small Business, not a Start-up

Pros

Interesting problems in business infrastructure, basic amenities, good location, excellent co-workers (for as long as they last). Well-placed product in the solar market.

Cons

Clearly caught the company in the midst of an inflection point in direction. The company is clearly a small business, but was acting as though it were a start-up, but all in terms of trappings rather than substance.
