CEO is a delusional liar to both investors and employees, CTO is an angry baby who throws tantrums when something goes wrong (which is very often), head of growth is clueless and thinks he understands social media, COO is a bully beyond belief, CFO got fired for making the company run out of cash (sorry Norris, hiring Revolut’s dumped CFO won’t make Monese become Revolut much to your dismay) Abysmal treatment of employees, who work so hard to improve the poor product proposed by the CEO. These hardworking employees are the ones who secured the company’s funding, only for the incompetent leadership to blow it on disgraceful product ‘features’ (think snowflakes in the background of the app for the Christmas week), marketing ‘campaigns’, and ridiculous expenses + luxurious trips for Norris. Do not work here. The leadership DO NOT know what they are doing. Monese B2C will not exist in a few years’ time, and Monese B2B is Norris’ path to becoming the millionaire he wants to be (after selling out all of his employees).

The senior bosses are incompetent, and the pressure was put down on the staff who did all the hard work. The AML department were made to do a big long project and were promised rewards at the end of it. Once it was finally completed we were rewarded with lots of people getting made redundant with 0 warning after years of loyal service. A disgusting way to treat hardworking staff, most of their problems stem from hiring incompetent contractors who end up making backlogs even worse than they already are and us who are paid much less than the contractors were left to clean up the mess COO is rude and arrogant, asks people to give their opinions and then laughs them away, it was likely the ones who were willing to raise concerns that were the ones who lost their jobs. We understand redundancies can happen but the way it was done at Monese was absolutely atrocious and crushed many people's mental health
