useless senior management team. current banking product is slow, expensive and unreliable. new banking product is as dead as a dodo. no-one ever seems to know whats going on.... then with a day to go a "deadline" appears from nowhere. Inadequate software development practise - Most practitioners here are Waterfall rather than Agile. The architecture is scandalous, the new UK version was untested before being used for new client work. company wastes money on contractors, MacBook pros, absurdly paid managers whilst making engineers and developers redundant. HR team are pathetic, don't care about the staff or their problems. Leakier than a leaky bucket with company information and staff secrets. HR Director / manager has changed multiple times, senior management fail to realise the problem isn't the HR manager.... Staff were told to fill out a staff survey, which would be anonymous, so that senior management could "improve and listen to our problems". Turns out they used this survey to target people who had complaints, making them redundant or bullying them out of the door. This is the kind of backstabbing, nasty senior management this company has. no customers / new business. people sitting around, with nothing to do, waiting for the axe to fall. no strategy or any glimmer of hope on new business strategy or future. hundreds of staff being made redundant (for the 3-4th time). culture of continual change, constant manager sackings, payoffs, restructuring and internal company propaganda on the companies direction and future. a blame and pressure culture like no other, a company where failure is continually rewarded and hard work and achievement is punished. accusations of staff harassment, bullying, even racism are ignored. whilsteblowers are ignored and forced out. HR team / Marketing create fake positive reviews on glassdoor. I cannot portray in words how bad this company is......
