Pros

Noble mission and lots of smart people in leadership roles.

Cons

Monogram Health is a textbook example of a company with no real culture—just a relentless obsession with metrics. The people doing the actual work are treated as expendable tools to hit arbitrary numbers, not as human beings. Leadership gives lip service to values but makes it clear that results come before people, always. Pod Docs are allowed to disengage entirely from culture-building, with zero accountability. The unspoken motto might as well be: “Whatever you’ve done isn’t enough—do more, faster.” Advancement is nearly impossible unless you’re part of a select inner circle. Leadership doesn’t support career growth; in fact, I’ve personally witnessed them sabotage an employee’s opportunity to move up just to keep them stuck in a role they had outgrown. It’s disheartening and toxic. If you speak up, you're labeled and targeted. The benefits are pretty terrible as well but compensation is fairly middle of the road so that's something.

Pros

Salary, co-workers and patient population.

Cons

I know that current and potential patients read these reviews, so I feel compelled to state, unequivocally, that those who are providing Monogram's services care deeply for our patients. Let there be no doubt about that. My advice to any potential job seekers is to avoid this company. You will hear a lot about work/life balance and how amazing/groundbreaking this company is ad nauseam in the interminable hours of orientation. The truth of the matter is, I have never worked so many hours outside of working hours in my life. Most of my team members find themselves charting while laying in bed at night, at their children's activities and on the weekends. And the obligations continue to increase. In addition to being expected to do your regular NP duties, you will also be responsible for a significant amount of administrative work, trainings, meetings, calls, texts, constant Teams messages, chatter, RN work (because they can't keep these jobs filled either) and so on. You are expected to answer your phone from 8am to 8pm. Your manager will most likely be someone with zero healthcare experience. So be prepared to be led by someone who has no idea what patient care consists of. Their real job is metrics, and you're just another number. Beyond these challenges, there is constant chaos and ill-conceived change. You will hear about "being flexible" and "pivoting" so often it should be part of their mission statement. Huh. Maybe it is. There is another review here that mentions the whiplash of changes - and that is the perfect way to describe it. Just when you think you have your feet under you and understand the assignment....it changes again. They cannot keep NPs, RNs or physicians for long. I'm not sure what it will take for leadership to finally, finally listen to feedback from current and past employees. To conclude, there are many reasons to avoid employment with this company and very few reasons to consider it.

Pros

The pay is good and the job is always changing so you'll learn a lot.

Cons

Literally anyone will step on you to save their own neck. It is not a collaborate environment. The expectations are unobtainable. High turnover. People are even quitting without backup plans because of the high level of abuse. Corporate frequently sends out policy changes that affect benefits and pay at the drop of a hat.
