      Pros

      They have beer in house to wash away the pain. Try to have events that help boost morale every month. Given some freedom to research ideas.

      Cons

      poor management skills as they are just promoted developers. lack of direction for the company. understaffed resulting in developers being over worked without stopping. knowledge loss is an issue and results in wasted time and functions not working as intended. In addition, if key players leave the product would suffer.

      Pros

      This industry and company is rich in resources, offers a lot of travelling and good training resources to get started.

      Cons

      Abrasive upper management, if you're on a different shift than your supervisor, it may be months before you reconnect. shifts are based on seniority and you will have to take a bad shift for months at a time. employees in some departments LOVE to gossip (above average from my experience)
