Pros

Some of the benefits the company offer are good

Cons

There is no culture of living by their own values The US team controlled us The internal recruiter over sells the company values and role A very long interview process No Receptionist, Office Management or HR team in UK We had an office manager and HR for a short period of time who both did a good job but both of them left due to being over worked and covering various roles No sense of UK culture Working longer and ridiculous hours due to the time difference between the UK and US offices as most of the management team is from the US No sense of the Friday feeling working till past 6pm most Fridays in the UK whilst US finish at 4pm on Fridays Offered working from home at interview stage but not always approved by US management

Pros

You’ll have the opportunity to work with some truly amazing people. The Hammersmith office is a pleasant place to work.

Cons

Account Executives (AEs) face intense pressure to meet monthly targets, making the end of each month particularly stressful. The management, especially at the AE3 level, lacks clear strategic direction when it comes to sales. Their primary tactic is sending out “Trust but Verify” (TBV) emails to prospects or customers in an attempt to rush deals, which feels ineffective and uninspired. The management style is driven by fear. If you don’t perform for two consecutive months, they won’t hesitate to place you on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP). Instead of fostering a culture of support and collaboration, the leadership leans on a blame-heavy approach, which demotivates rather than empowers the team.

Pros

Company is well knows in North America - That's it.

Cons

Management in London is governed by a dictatorial style where you have no rights to object, crititicize nor offer a different point of view. HR is scary, abusing their power to make you feel small and isolated. Whistleblowing procedure doesn't work - no action was taken after raising concern. It's all about formalism and corporate attitude where all you have to do is Obeying. They have little budget for events and your office is in the middle of nowhere besides a graveyard, so depressing. Don't talk to colleagues about your personal stuff - the environment is so TOXIC you will not be able to distinguish it from an episode of squid game. Middle management has no power and actually they have little or no knowledge of the compliance space. Formalism is key - You gotta understand that. Being yourself? Forget it. They criticize OT for lay offs but they do exactly the same while bragging about their great financial position. Being a victing of that was not fun stuff.
