Pros

The people are generally nice and hardworking, they give their all to try and make the place a success

Cons

The management are out of touch, especially since Anne Marie came on board. She is overly pc and is a picky micromanager that doesn’t trust anyone, even after you have been there for years and have more experience than she does. She ruined the culture and people no longer trust each other. Everyone is scared to make decisions . The teams have been put into small boxes and aren’t allowed to collaborate any more and yet the number of meetings that don’t progress anything is rediculous. She doesn’t want to listen and the rest of the elt team seem to have no say any more. There is no group discussions to air changes as Anne Marie is scared of talking in public. She is the worst thing to have happened to this business in a long time and will run the place into the ground. Many people do not stay very long but they are also getting rid of good people regularly and forcing them out the door if they dare to talk about anything that may be wrong.

Not so great to hear your cons, but we recognise that it can be hard for people to adjust when the new CEO has a different style. Here's some data for a slightly different perspective: - Our turnover has reduced by more than 25% since Anne-Marie started - People are also staying longer - our average tenure has increased by 15% just in the last 12 months alone - In our annual Workplace Experience Survey last year 93% said they felt they could approach their leader with comments, feedback or suggestions. - Our net promoter score is also up year-on-year We'd encourage this person to get in touch with HR so we can work through your concerns; maybe we can both learn something!

Pros

I chose to return to NXP, due to the opportunity presented to me by CEO Anne-Marie. While I did not specifically have experience as an Operations Manager, all the experience I had with sourcing, supply chain, forecasting etc she trusted that I could do the role and was the right person for NXP. NXP is 100% NZ owned with a supportive board and that along with the leadership and the hands off approach of our CEO who trusts in the ELT team to deliver on our goals makes it a pleasure to come to work every day. I also have to talk about the wider team of NXP who also make the place what it is. We know everyone’s name and genuinely care and wish each other every success.
