Pros

I have been working at Naviron for over 7 months and have to say it has been the best experience so far. Never before have I felt that management is so invested in my career and well being as I have here. They have helped me grow professionally and have cheered me on every step of the way so far. The team environment is present at all times even though we work in different states.

Cons

Working in the recruiting industry means working with candidates who often are unpredictive.

Pros

From Day 1, I have experienced unlimited resources and tools to be successful here at Naviron. I was sold on the Vision! The time and attention from our managers is excellent! We have the ability to work with reputable Fortune 500 companies across the US fullfilling their internal positions for them and it is something Naviron does not take for granted. You can bet we handcrafted and uniquely indetify top talent quickly and resourceful! Working closely with managers is the relational feel we portray to our candidates who apply and work for us! Its a relationship from beginning to end because that is our Naviron culture! Matching top talent to the demands of our business is my biggest reward. Every dial, every email sent, and every resume reviewed never goes unrewarded. If you bring a smile on your face, coffee, determination, hard work, and an entrepreneur spirit-the sky is the limit! Our CEO, Evan gives candid, constructive feedback to team members and, in turn, actively requests feedback from them. He is a leader in building a strong team spirit and identity. All his actions are directed toward the success of the team and clients over his own interests. He exhibits a high degree of openness and objectivity to the views of others. Evan has been able to balance the needs of the team with his individual responsibilities. Evan successfully utilizes the recruitment sources available to him. His analysis and forecasting of staffing needs are accurate and effective. Our new business partners that reach out to us monthly for hiring needs and our large candidate pool of top talent is one reason why Naviron has grown year after year! He also exhibits good interviewing skills and techniques. As he interviews candidates, he usually offers a positive yet realistic view of the organization he is working with. Every Naviron team member exhibits this same type of behavior. His selection decisions generally result in successful hires because he believes in putting forth his best effort to meet the needs of Navirons partners and clients hiring needs!

Cons

Must exhibit strong time management skills and understanding sales recruiting can vary in your own individual work but the reward is always there for everyone involved!

Pros

Flexibility in Schedule. Quiet Environment. They do accept junior recruiters and can help them learn the basics. Great Clients. Tulsa manager is extremely supportive.

Cons

1st off, I was not fired from my position and I was hitting my goals. I am writing this so the cons can be seen with the pros. Cursing, micro-management and unstructured training. The company did not provide any help towards personal growth(which I believe is a MUST in today's world). Management was extremely negative and did very little to promote a positive atmosphere. Rules and policies are constantly changing. Depending on the day and recruiter will depend on which policy is followed. I never expected the leaders of the company to act in such an unprofessional manner to it's subordinates.

In keeping with our core beliefs and transparency I wanted to make sure we addressed some of your concerns/claims from your review. First off, I am sorry to hear you felt dissatisfied at best - as a management team we pride ourselves on most of the areas you mentioned as cons so your feedback seems misguided. Our first core value is People First and that starts with our employees, we never want anyone to feel they are a subordinate as we truly work as a team. Being positive is the backbone of our company from the top down and is especially important as a recruiter. If you had concerns with management, the atmosphere or anything for that matter, addressing them while you were employed would have provided an opportunity for us address them and find a solution for your success. Again - as a small business transparency is very important as we continue to grow. To say our rules and policies are constantly changing depending on the day and recruiter is simply not true. We have implemented new policies (as all businesses do) to enhance our process for the betterment of the team and individual. Whenever new policies are created we discuss them collectively as a team to gather feedback before implementing anything. As for training and micro-management – those tend to go hand in hand when you are learning a new position/skill. You said the Tulsa manager was extremely supportive and you were hitting your numbers so if the training wasn’t good I am not sure if that would have happened. Finally, culture - I agree that we can always do more for team building! In the past year alone we have added video conferencing for our office meetings for collectiveness, quarterly team dinners/events in Tulsa, flying employees to different locations and fun contests. I do hope you find success in your new career and wish you all the best. Thank you for your feedback and I will take all of it into consideration on areas that we can improve.
