Pros

Fun culture, a lot of diversity too

Cons

Compensation is not competitive at all, and raises are nearly non existent. This company has lost a LOT of talent because of the pay rate. No money to spend because of a dying product.

Pros

Management at NetSpend is involved and accessible. Free sodas and ice water. Lots of fun contests and holiday celebrations. The company treats each contributor like an individual not a number. Good vacation and compensation. Honest dialogue abounds. Work Hard / Play Hard culture.

Cons

Hard Work is a must. If you don't protect the security of NetSpend cardholders and show up, you could find yourself out of a job. Not a lot of room to skate by in any roles.

Pros

Free sodas & anyone with a 10 grade education can qualify for a job.

Cons

Where to start: Work/Life Balance does not exist. Who works on Sundays? Next compensation is way below par & management are absolutely clueless uneducated & just stupid!

Pros

The team environment and communication strategies across departments were good. There was an abundance of training and personal growth including career building. Compensation was a great fit and always adjusting to the market. Frequent opportunities to give back to the community, as this company was active in giving back to the community. Frequent company and department events that celebrated a variety of events from birthdays, to anniversaries, to just a good job for all of the employees. This company has a great reward and recognition program. If there is any question of being a company to work for compared to another, i would give this company 5 stars!

Cons

This was a great place to work for. I was very pleased with every aspect of my job and employment here.

Pros

Netspend seemed to strike a nice balance between large enough to provide decent stability, benefits, and compensation and small enough to not be burdened with too much bureaucracy. I found management provided clear direction and was generally competent. Most of the staff was approachable, down to earth, and friendly.

Cons

Compensation could've been better from my point of view. Perhaps Management was a little too hands off at times.
