Pros

Clients, only the clients.

Cons

- office staff are snobby -need more management -everything these days is technology but new challenges won't even make their applications electronic. -they won't spend money to fix broken furniture - no training. 2 hours of orientation and 15 at the site. Nothing extensive which leads to problems in the home - no incentive program. They don't care about their staff - impossible to get a hold of HR. - program directors don't give a damn about their houses, they spend more time at bars and searching internet -benefits are horrible. Cheaper to not have insurance. - nothing organized. Except program director trips. - they don't care how much they run you dry . if they are budgeted double staff, there won't be a second staff. - program coordinators do everything. Program directors don't support them. - emergency on call cell is a joke. Basically they tell you to call your PC and they don't do anything -in the 7+ years working there, I got 2 raises not including a promotion. - owner just wanted money in her pocket. -if you are a program coordinator, expect to use tour own phone constantly.

Pros

Hands down, the clients that I work with. They are great!

Cons

1) No promotions from within. Upper management secretly decides to promote people without even posting an opening to give others a chance. 2) Recruitment SUCKS!! I commonly have multiple open positions and its next to impossible to get Human Resources to hire soneone, probably because she is always on a trip. 3) the owner is much more concerned about the next way she can make a buck and does not make sure all of the needs are met. She's gotta make sure she has money to go on all her trips too.

Pros

The clients are really great to work with. There are many great front line supervisors in the homes. Variety of daily tasks.

Cons

No training opportunities. Company does not commonly promote from within hiring outside individuals for upper management positions. Upper Management is not interested in what's happening day to day at the homes, instead spending time on trips, long lunches, and searching internet. It is IMPOSSIBLE to hear back from HR - once I had to leave more than 10 messages about same issue and still no return call. Many payroll errors. TERRIBLE benefits...what's the point? All of the upper management will "gang up" on an employee if one of them does not like someone - fire staff for little or no reason.
