The time you took to write this review is greatly appreciated! As you know, right around the time your review we had gone through a company reorganization. We certainly had accountability issues, and through the reorg, we now have and are continuing to develop more structure and accountability. In addition, as you also know, there was a shift and reorg of the overall Client Success team. We have put in more checks, balances, and structure to the department to increase the happiness of our clients, as well as our Client Success team members. Wishing you the best in your next endeavor, we appreciate the years you put into HEBS Digital, as well as the feedback provided.

Pros

- Interesting industry and ability to work for a wide range of clients. - International company, where diversity is welcomed and valued.

Cons

- Outdated agency style: inflexible start and end times, no laptops provided to employess, lack of devices for testing. - Below standards benefits: low pay for the digital marketplace, no health insurance provided during probation period, no sick days, no flexibility to work from home unless you are sick. - Poor client servicing: the majority of staff is junior level and won't receive the right level of training. It's common for client's projects to suffer severely, as management commits to unrealistic contracts and timelines. - No loyalty towards employees: constantly witnessing lay-offs and people quitting around you, means you feel undervalued and morale is generally low. - Lack of innovation: services provided tend to be cookie cutter and you lack ability to work on creative/cutting edge projects. - Unfair promotion structure: there's no clarity as to people's career progression plans. Promotions are achieved when people threaten to leave, rather than due to merit.

First, we want to apologize for the experience you had with us. As a growing company, we are working towards continuing to roll out new policies on a weekly basis that will not only improve the happiness of all of our employees but take into consideration feedback from middle management so that there is a bigger voice than just the e-team. In addition, as we are a growing company, with that comes growing pains, however, we are taking steps to create more structure and accountability across teams. One of our benefits includes generous PTO policy which covers personal days, sick days and vacation days. Again, we apologize for the experience you had. We are all entitled to our opinions and we respect the fact that you quickly moved on before getting too settled here. All feedback is good feedback, and we will be sure to review the points you made. We are truly committed to all of our employees and work hard to improve everyone’s work-life.

Possibly the worst company in Hospitality

Pros

Some very talented developers, technology teams, and marketing minds.

Cons

No self awareness at the executive level. Arrogance and intellectual dishonesty are rampant. There is an old boys club mentality in upper management and nepotism is systemic which leads to terrible hiring decisions and unfit employees being moved into positions that they are not qualified for. The effect trickles down to the people in lower positions and creates poor employee engagement. HEBS Digital is a revolving door with the most talented new hires quickly realizing they've been sold a bill-of-goods. The health benefits are some of the worst in the industry and if you are considering taking a position there and have a family, make sure your spouse has good benefits because you will not be able to survive on their terrible health insurance plan. Unless things have changed, it cost close to $2,000 a month to add a dependent to your insurance plan. When I asked about the reason for the high premium, I was told it was because of Obama (this is factually untrue). During my time there, I was "managed" by a direct report who had no management skills or interest in developing their management abilities. They reported to someone who had zero experience in the position and knew nothing about their department (a casual racist, one of a few at the company). I'm sure anyone who works there now or has in the past knows who I am talking about. Weekly happy hours are meant to be fun but end up creating an unsafe and unprofessional environment (especially for young female employees).

Thanks for the feedback – we appreciate it. Regarding the concerns you raise about health insurance, we continuously look for ways to enhance employee benefits. We offer health insurance that includes majority employer contributions to Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and AD&D benefits. Please know that HEBS Digital bears 78% of the Employees premium cost and it is one of the most competitive packages offered in the industry. Our executive and management teams always strive to evaluate and improve everything from daily processes to company policies. We work hard to maintain a respectful and safe environment for all our employees. All activities including Social Hours are completely voluntary. In addition, the executive, management and human resources teams have an open door policy as well as weekly check-ins with all employees. We always encourage everyone to take advantage of this time to voice any concerns. Your observations and concerns help us better understand how we can improve and we welcome the chance to discuss them live. Please feel free to reach out to hrdept@hebsdigital.com.
