Pros

Whoever conducts your interview will most likely give you a great impression and leave you feeling absolutely charmed.

Cons

You'll then go on to be employed as part-time regardless of how many hours you work during the week so they can dodge paying you casual rates. You will be given NO paid leave, NO paid breaks, virtually illegal wage and not a sliver of respect from the owners. Seeing staff be publicly shamed in-store or on the "friendly" group chat will become the norm, and you'll constantly be wondering if you'll be the next target. You'll also be wondering if you'd be better off working at MacDonald's, and let me tell you - you would be. Owners will bad-mouth you and/or co-workers ON SHIFT in front of everyone. Oh, they also don't tell you this, but the owners ARE ALWAYS watching and listening to you on the cameras. A few of the managers that have familial ties with the owners will travel from store to store, and they will most likely be your saving grace for a brief period. There are few employees of this company who will treat you as a person, but to their credit, that few is a lovely bunch. Is it enough to justify the absolute sh*tstorm that working for this franchise turned out to be? Not at all. Run. I guarantee you there is a burger-flipping job around the corner that will be 10 times better than this gig.

Pros

Some good people work there

Cons

Where do I start? Firstly they hire all staff as Part Time so they can pay them minimum wage but have them working like casual staff. Roster doesn’t come out till a SUNDAY night and most shifts are 3 hours a day 6 days a week. Also no contracts are signed and some staff are paid cash in hand for weekend work. The management does not care about it’s staff or customers all they want is money money money. They even publicly humiliate staff if they aren’t happy with them. The work itself is the most boring and dull thing I have ever done in my life. I wouldn’t wish that type of work on my worst enemy. As I said some of the staff are nice but a lot of them are horrible. I had one staff member that never said hi to me, always rude, never included me or talked to me and always asking me extremely personal questions to the point I had to tell him to stop. I haven’t met anyone that actually enjoys working there it’s that bad. I would rather work at McDonalds. So so so glad that I left.
