Pros

A lot of friendly & dedicated people working diligently in an attempt to provide the best service for customers. Very nice HQ near Dublin.

Cons

Poor staff retention- the talented people leave, are trying to leave or want to leave but aren’t brave enough to get the hell out! Poor customer retention due to shockingly bad service, lost inventory & incorrect billing. Finger pointing, blame & toxic culture. Unachievable targets. Inefficient processes. Senior management have no real knowledge of or interest in the people working on the ground. More interested in putting together slide decks to “demonstrate “ how amazing the company is, how importantly they supposedly view mental health, diversity etc. but then not actually doing anything. Bullying from overpaid middle management who are clueless and shouldn’t be in the jobs that they are.

Pros

Helps remind you that the only way is up (baby)

Cons

Cronyism is rife in the 'management' team with the majority of them ex IM rejects. Oasis is not looking to encourage/elevate/train you. They are looking for you to work yourself into the ground without complaint (and you better not make any mistakes because there is a massive blame culture) The management are more concerned with analysing every second of a workers day ensure they are being efficient than doing the simple things like NOT LOSE CLIENTS INVENTORY and this is just one example of how backwards the place is. Suggestions on how to improve things are not welcomed. The guy who is responsible for training people on the TR system is so clueless himself if you asked him what a RDMS was he'd have a coronary. Blind leading the blind here I'm afraid. Advice to people thinking about joining Oasis would be.. don't. Advice to people still at Oasis.. I guarantee you could find a better job with more money in a non toxic environment so.. do that.

Pros

The actually staff in the records centres do the best they can and try to help each other.

Cons

Top management from Dublin are out of their depth, try to do things on the cheap, poor customer service, tell staff to lie to customers on location of storage of files, hold customers to ransom with extortionate leaving costs, add in extra costs whenever they feel. Uk south management not allowed to manage by top guys in Dublin. If changes aren’t made company will struggle as getting a bad reputation in records management.
