RecommendsNeutral OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI have been working at Ofcom full-time
Pros
Good place to work - they care about staff and their wellbeing. Good support policies in place and flexible working encouraged. Nice offices in a central location Good work-life balance Overall people are friendly and care about each other
Cons
Very left-wing middle-class organisation and obsessed with being politically correct. Too many senior managers - most are just coasting. You could probably get rid of half of them and it would make no difference whatsoever. So much bureaucracy and over management of employees - as such its slow and frustrating. Everything needs sign off from at least 3 Directors and multiple boards - it can be exhausting.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI have been working at Ofcom full-time for more than 10 years
Pros
Some interesting work, good people to work with, opportunity to work with others departments on project work
Cons
Poor management and lack of interest in addressing these problems, lack of interest in career progression unless your face fits, almost no career progression. I feel like I am taken for granted. Seem to promote and pay people who do little work above those who end up sorting out other peoples mess and getting the work done. No recognition for good work done, taking on extra responsibilities or the skills you develop and bring
