Pros

You get a company vehicle that you can use for personal use would probably be the only pro. - there is a tracker and dashcam installed.

Cons

In the beginning, the team seems very welcoming and willing to help to which most are not. instructions are not clear. if you receive a task they give you half the info and when you do it wrong its somehow your fault The managers seem nice at first but once you are there for a while they are not friendly. I felt like I was always being watched and I know a few other employees do as well. It was WFH and they were slowly starting to get back into the office. the work from office structure is a bit odd. you need to be at the office by 830 am no matter where you live, and if you go out for a training you need to be back at the office after. basically, if you are in Burnaby and you come down to langley to the office in the morning, then you drive back to Burnaby for training and back to langley once that is done and then back to Burnaby to go home? just seems like a waste of time to me.\ and last but not least, as I did see from past reviews and chose to ignore when I applied, they fire for NO REASON!! I was let go and when I asked why I was told they could not tell me.

Pros

Manager is chilled out Get your work done and chill out, unless management decides to overload you

Cons

Bosses dont care about the team They just want the goals met, by being overloaded or not 7 people left over 5 months No growth I was brought in with false promise of becoming a developer in 6 months and stayed for a year and nothing happened

Pros

Non-management staff are mostly great people. Decent pay. Good benefits. Car benefit is great if you're a marketing representative. No performance metrics!

Cons

Nepotism. Family members/friends of management have lesser responsibility, get extra vacation, and don't pull their weight. Restricting of growth. Only friends and family move up in the company. New ideas are shot down, old school mindset in how company is run, process improvement is limited by ineffective managers and people not wanting to do more work Secretive and lack of communication: Managers doors closed all the time, people fired without cause (they are paid out) suddenly without any warning. Ineffectual: Management sits around doing a lot of nothing (online shopping, chatting with friends, taking long lunches, etc.) Large chunk of marketing's day is spent doing nothing and most want to keep it that way. Way of doing business is ineffectual. Plenty of time spent sales training same people repeatedly.
