Pros

Great pay for the same work I was doing in the military. The schedule was consistent and I was surrounded by like-minded individuals. This work is great for someone that just seperated from the military and is in the transition back to civilian life.

Cons

You are at the mercy of the customer (in my case the US Navy) so no matter what the customer is always right (even when they are wrong).

As a rule, PAE is a good company to work for. The pay is good, the management for the most part is good, although you can come across a bad apple from time to time and the benefits packages give you options that fit your budget.

Cons

Every once in awhile, they put someone into a position they should not have.
