Pros

Working from home is the largest pro.

Cons

The lack of transparency from the executive team and the tasks of being placed on projects you aren't a good fit for.

Pros

Working from home is my only positive thing to add.

Cons

Management will have you on projects knowing you’re not a good fit. Sales will push anything to meet a number. Benefits are not favorable. No room for growth and the pay is below market.

Thank you for leaving this review, we value your feedback. After a long tenure at PayTech, we are saddened to hear that working remotely is the only positive thing you experienced in your time here. When we miss on aligning someone to the right work, it creates a bad experience. This isn’t common, but it has happened and there’s opportunity to reduce those experiences. Given the consultative nature of the roles we have at PayTech, we do expect our employees to be resourceful with the experts on staff and with the system and payroll training available to them. We have a highly experienced Sales team who works closely with Operations to ensure we have alignment on scope and ensure resources are capable and supported. Benefits coverage and cost continue to be a top priority for PayTech as we battle industry and usage cost increases facing every business. PayTech extends a great deal of resources to keep coverage and costs competitive. Salaries and incentive programs remain competitive for our industry and business model of employing W2 employees and not 1099 which is unique. Our consultants deliver incredible results because of the accelerated amount of experience within our organization compared to a typical back office HCM role. We’re proud to see past employees landing larger roles after working at PayTech as we believe it speaks to the continued growth they achieve while working here.

We appreciate you taking the time to leave this review. Our “Client for Life” philosophy is PayTech’s core approach to business and we make frequent assessments to enhance these efforts. Your feedback about including client-facing employees is valuable and appreciated. Our managers are heavily engaged in account management alongside the assigned consultant, and decisions are made with their feedback and insights. This helps provide intimate familiarity with client engagements and helps shape future areas for improvement.
