If you’re looking for a place to work alongside competent professionals I suggest you look elsewhere. Admin and especially the DON are out of touch with their staff and facility. A lot praise given to undeserving employees while the hardworking ones go ignored. I feel one shift away from something tragic happening thanks to nurses working in the ER who are not experienced and don’t want to be in the ER. I watched the DON turn nurses against each other like some sick game and manipulate people into doing her work and she will bully anyone she sees as a threat to her cozy position as a DON who doesn’t actually have to do very much.
