• No training whatsoever provided, either on skills for job or technical. Could lead to uncomfortable situations with the launch of “strategic” new products and sales personnel knowing nothing about them.
• No progression opportunities, even with growth levels of company there was no desire to develop employees. Apart from expansions to roles, I did not see a single individual have any meaningful progression in their role
• Management’s KPIs do not flow down organisation well. Overly high focus on them, leading to skewing of priorities in role. Ends up with duplication of admin, box ticking and ultimately vast amounts of time wasted on irrelevant tasks
• Toxic environment to work in at times, issues than can easily be resolved are instead speared on by management
• No channels to raise concerns or issues without fear of backlash from management
