Pros

Decent salary. Nice HR lady. However, I chose to resign 4 weeks later due to all of the unprofessionalism.

Cons

I was told things by my manager in interviews that when I got on the job, were not accurate. Lack of training, lack of appropriate support, lack of truth, and a lack of professionalism led me to resign 4 weeks later. The irony is that I resigned for the same issues the former Field Market Manager had.

Pros

The brand is internationally recognized and the office location is convenient. Some of the lower level colleagues are hardworking people just trying to do their best despite the leadership

Cons

Cultural & Racial Bias: There is a blatant "Guatemala-only" culture where all the top positions and executives are reserved for their own people. If you are not from that specific inner circle, there is zero room for growth. It is an exclusionary environment where Black and White employees are treated as a minority with no future. Local talent is treated as disposable, while management from the home country is protected regardless of performance. Financial Failure & Layoffs: The company is bleeding money and operating at a net loss, which is why they are constantly firing people to cover up for bad management. Work-Life Balance: Expect extreme deadlines and a "burnout culture" where corporate management expects you to be available at all times. Operations / HR Instability & Incompetence: The company has been restructured so many times in the past few months that it has created total instability. The new HR leadership is completely unprepared for the US market; they only care about their own deadlines and protecting their seats while executing mass layoffs every month. The new management is incompetent, lacks critical decision-making skills, and relies on toxic micro-management and "high school" finger-pointing.Benefits are not good they give you the bare minimum .

Pros

Great company culture overall and a very supportive corporate team. People are genuinely kind, collaborative, and willing to help each other. There is a strong sense of teamwork within non-operations departments, and the brand itself is solid and well-positioned.

Cons

Working closely with Operations is extremely challenging. High turnover at the restaurant level creates constant overload and makes the workload unsustainable. Instead of collaboration, Operations tends to apply pressure without providing support or realistic solutions, which leads to tension and burnout. Additionally, there is very limited room for growth or career advancement, making it difficult to see a long-term future within the company
