Pros

Some good colleagues in the company

Cons

Culture has changed dramatically in the last six months, very poor leadership from the leadership team, there is no coaching or support, you are constantly managed with visitors taking pictures of your shop with no contact with the store teams then used as a stick to beat the store's up with, toxic culture with the company offering no real strategy other than to blame the managers, if you are already in a quality retailer think twice about moving, this company won't help your CV.

Pros

its a job. if your not fussy or suicidal you will love it.

Cons

After working for this company for 6+ years I can honestly say they have no care towards staff or health and safety. When delivery comes staff are told to pull in pallets with no health and safety training or protective clothing provided. Current management have no care towards long term members of staff. Staff are told if they don’t like it they know where the door is. Even if you have a disability this company will refuse to work around it, at the end of the day it is made clear that your health is not the companies responsibility, when the 99p takeover is complete this store will be closed with the loss of all staff. If you like being bullied then this is the place for you. Don’t expect management to listen to your worries and forget about the company grievance procedure because they never side with the staff,
