Pros

Working at Powtoon as a Customer Success Manager has been an incredibly fulfilling experience. From the moment I joined the team, I was welcomed into a culture that values collaboration, innovation, and personal growth. The culture at Powtoon is truly exceptional. It's evident that the company places a high emphasis on fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Team members are supportive, approachable, and always willing to lend a helping hand. This collaborative atmosphere not only makes coming to work enjoyable but also leads to greater productivity and success in achieving our goals. One of the standout aspects of Powtoon is its amazing product. As a Customer Success Manager, I have the privilege of working with a product that truly makes a difference for our clients. Powtoon's animation software is intuitive, powerful, and incredibly versatile, allowing our customers to create captivating content with ease. Being able to witness the impact our product has on our clients' businesses is immensely rewarding. The office and location are also spot on. Situated in a vibrant area with easy access to amenities, the Powtoon office provides a comfortable and inspiring workspace. Whether collaborating with colleagues in meeting rooms or finding a quiet spot to focus, the office environment caters to diverse working preferences. Powtoon also offers good perks that enhance the overall employee experience. The company invests in its employees' well-being and growth. Additionally, perks such as flexible work hours, weekly deliveroo allowance and company events contribute to a healthy work-life balance. In summary, working as a Customer Success Manager at Powtoon has been nothing short of fantastic. The culture, collaboration, product quality, office space, and perks all contribute to an enriching and fulfilling work experience. I am grateful to be a part of such an innovative and supportive team, and I look forward to continued growth and success at Powtoon.

Cons

Should Powtoon ever consider potential investment or buyouts, it's vital to safeguard our unique culture and values. Our identity, rooted in inclusivity, innovation, and teamwork, must remain intact to sustain our success. Any changes should align with our long-term vision, prioritising sustainable growth and customer satisfaction. Effective communication between leadership and employees will be key in preserving Powtoon's essence amidst future challenges. Let's ensure that as we evolve, we never compromise on what makes us truly exceptional.

Pros

My role at Powtoon is both Challenging and rewarding. Powtoon has given me the opportunity to develop my skills and with the support of my manager, I have been able to contribute to a growing successful team within this exciting company. Based in London, whilst we are a relatively small and newly-established part of the company (the majority of the company is based in Tel Aviv) I feel we have played a vital role in the growth of the company and despite the remote-working situation we find ourselves in, I feel a strong bond with my colleagues.

Cons

Covid, however we have already returned to a hybrid work model.

Getting messy - red flags are starting to appear

Pros

- My direct team was a lovely group of people, a real sense of mucking in when someone needed help and support - Great work/life balance

Cons

- London culture is non-existent, exacerbated by the Tel Aviv HQ sharing photos of their weekly happy hours, etc. - Recognition and acknowledgement for your work is rare - CEO has complete delusions of grandeur - the company is nowhere near the pedestal on which it's been placed - Out of the blue, the company decided to take an "AI-first approach" without telling employees - the first mention was on a public LinkedIn post - Information is rarely shared with those who need it, e.g. new feature launches would be rescheduled without telling relevant teams, meaning launch emails and comms would still go out to customers
