Pros

You can essentially wear pajamas to work and you wouldn’t be looked at twice.

Cons

The entire time I was here it felt like a bunch of adults playing “business”. No clear sense of hierarchy, and people clamoring for an ounce of power who had no business doing so. I suggest you do your time here if you need some experience and then promptly exit the company. Pay was absolutely not on par with comparable salaries in this market and it also wildly varied amongst equals depending on who you were. Most of management were highly unqualified and overworked to the point of completely ignoring your concerns.

Undue Stress and Unfair Leadership

Pros

Benefits. If they like you personally, you have a job for life. Good amount of time off

Cons

In my opinion, there is no advancement here unless you are friends with the higher ups. It is not a meritocracy. In my opinion, it’s nepotism at best and a straight up transaction (infer from that what you will) at worst. Undue stress will be placed on over achievers who are good at their jobs to support underachievers who are in the boys club of leadership. The office is also weirdly politically charged and there is a huge lack of diversity which I think is incredibly unprofessional. Not that there’s much professionalism to begin with.

If you were indeed one of our former employees, we’re sorry to hear you had a negative experience with PracticeMatch and even more unfortunate that your perception of advancement is not aligned with the reality. All new and existing employee’s performance is reviewed and rated consistently in accordance with our policies, and all annual salary increases are based on the merit and employee’s achievements. Maybe you were just unaware of individual’s achievement to understand why someone was promoted. Our company promotes career development for all employees and prides itself on the diversity of the workforce at all levels of the company, as evident from the tenure of our staff and multiple positive reviews on this and other platforms. Thank you for sharing your feedback and we wish you the best in your next opportunity!

Pros

Week off between Christmas and New Year's.

Cons

High volume of calls, comission plan stinks.. CEO is clueless. Second in command I always making plays to get more power. He's a lousy communicator and loves to fire people. Almost everybody gets fired, unless you are one of the favorites. This is ok if you are desperate for work. Don't plan on staying.

I am sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience working at PracticeMatch. The statements you have made about everyone getting fired is an extreme exaggeration. To claim anyone loves firing people is a complete lie and baseless accusation. We have had a stable team here in place for many years, and the management team has experienced minimal turnover in the last 3+ years. We have a majority of employees celebrating 5+ years with PracticeMatch, and recently had a valued employee retire after 25 years. We have a success-driven culture here and some employees find that this is not the right place for them. I am glad that you enjoyed the time off between Christmas and New Years. Best of luck in your career endeavors.
