Pros

Free beauty products, no OT if you set boundaries for yourself

Cons

Everything was going well until a change in management, with new higher-ups who know nothing about the market. Good colleagues who have been bringing in results have been booted out for some strange reason, while those with nothing to show for themselves remain. Instead of leading as managers should, this new upper management throws everything to their underlings even when it's not part of their job scopes, with the excuse that their underlings know the market better than them. Upp management people are nothing but figureheads and have not contributed anything positive to the team. When asked questions regarding certain processes, they are incapable of giving proper answers and even dare to say "I don't know". Company claims that funds are low (despite highest ever profits made in the past year) and as such we don't even get cab claims anymore, but while this is happening, thousands of dollars are being spent on unnecessary things like flights for said managers from HK to SG despite the existence of video calls. This clearly explains why we've never had year-end bonuses despite doing consistently well last year. Lovely to know that my bonus that could have been, went into funding someone's flights and hotels. Solid team members are dropping out one by one due to feeling unappreciated plus the frustration of dealing with stubborn and incompetent higher-ups. Those who are left behind are running on super low morale. Good luck to everyone, you're going to need it.

Pros

Unable to find any pros working in the company .

Cons

- treat you like a blue collared worker where you have to clock in and clock out everytime you leave the premises - Zero Bonus - management that steals ideas and treat it like their own - nepotism at its highest - Hong Kongers who thinks they know it all but they know nothing about the Singapore market - Hires top management people who have no media experience but yet they still got their jobs without contributing ideas or revenue - sells job candidates the ‘American dream’ of working in the company but they have no intention of allowing current employees to grow or even for the company and platform to be better - management is never transparent in their communication - treats staff badly with harsh emails from HR on punctuality - no room to grow and don’t ever think you can be part of management no matter how big your designation is - HQ in HK only think that they are the best when they have no ‘depth’ inside them on basic communication and basic EQ to treat their staff right

Pros

Office space is alright, not many people care about socialising. It’s just like a ghost town/nursing house.

Cons

If you are experienced and are serious about doing great work, this is not the place for you.It is not a collaborative environment. I've NEVER seen turnover like this, That should tell you something. MANAGEMENT--- Middle & upper management is offensively under-qualified. When press them with a real questions they either give you the runaround, or a prepared statement. Actively promotes unskilled people who have no idea what they're doing just because of their have been there the longest. WORKING ENVIRONMENT--- It's like everyone is in nursing home. A lot of incompetent under-skilled seniors/editor/staff, "high school girls gossip club" often slack off doing nothing and create unprofessional working environment. ENVIRONMENT--- People who have zero ambition to improve the company culture should have been fired long ago still work there and thinks they are better than everyone else. Produce buckets of poorly made content/videos to spam the internet with but busy claiming free beauty products home. GOING DOWNHILL --- Keeps spending $$ on useless stuff instead of invest experienced people in their field to do certain roles. The management/staff/productions at the company clearly in it not to create something meaningful and sustainable, but to enrich themselves so there’s a lot of ego issues to deal with. QUALITY --- Low content quality. KPI keep changing, here's no mentorship or emphasis on quality over quantity, write reductive SEO stories. View counts results clearly reflect the same repeating narcissistic talent that feeling oneself is so boring, audience hates content that she is in but they ignore about it. Who are simply not good senior digital writers and/or not properly trained.
