I have been working at QVC UK full-time

    Pros

Great people, supportive and positive environment.

    Cons

QVC is slow to change and needs to improve its digital execution and representation if its brand to move forwards. Things can take a long time to change. The business is held back by antiquated systems and is beholden to it's international group.

I worked at QVC UK part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great discount Good location Fun team

    Cons

I loved my job on QVC, being a fan of all things funky and neat, I couldn’t wait to get my claws into my new job on my favourite channel. Unfortunately after about 3 months, things took a turn. One day I noticed that one of the more recognisable presenters had started selling my coat live on TV!! I couldn’t believe it. I thought it was a joke at first, but then it sold ! No 60 day return policy or easy payment which made it unaffordable for me to buy back. The addiction some of the cast have for selling is unbelievable, they’d sell the set if it wasn’t nailed down. And it literally has to be for this reason!

I have been working at QVC UK full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Friendly staff, can be fun if there's no massive queues which is rare.

    Cons

Always busy not always because of customers but because of a lack of staff. Time going to the toilet is timed and goes against you. Ridiculous aht call handling times that are impossible to hit this goes against your bonus at no fault of your own. You have to listen to select recorded calls with your team leader which no matter how good are always heavily criticized. Team leaders don't even know how to use the systems yet can criticize you for your use of it.
