Compensation is not competitive, particularly for long-term employees. In some cases, newer hires may start at higher rates than tenured staff in similar roles, which is not only unfair, but can also be discouraging. Overall pay often does not align with the cost of living.
Management styles vary widely, but employees may experience either excessive micromanagement or a lack of meaningful support and direction. Communication from leadership can feel inconsistent, and (more often than not) lacks transparency.
There are ongoing concerns related to workplace culture, including favoritism, cliques, and limited inclusivity. Opportunities for advancement may feel restricted without strong internal relationships, which can impact morale and professional growth. Relatives of CEO and company favorites are usually considered top priority for these advancements when they are available.
Operational inefficiencies can make day-to-day work more difficult than necessary, particularly when it comes to resolving technical issues in a timely manner. Having a company computer fixed/replaced should not take so much as a week or so to resolve, let alone several MONTHS.
Time-off requests may not always be handled consistently, with some employees experiencing delays, pushback, or unclear expectations despite established policies.
During periods of business instability, including the loss of key clients, communication around job security lacked transparency. Some employees were reassured about their roles before being impacted by layoffs shortly after. While initially frustrating, in time, it will be discovered that being given the opportunity to move on to a much more fulfilling role at a different company would be considered a major blessing and a win at the end of the day.
Overall, the workplace environment can feel challenging due to a combination of inconsistent management practices, cultural concerns, and limited support systems.
Let me put it this way...I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Too many ethical problems across the board at this place to make any amount of pay worth it.
