Pros

Cons

Management arent open to hearing common sense at all and make decisions that make absolutely no sense. They dictate these down, and put people in positions that they dont want to be in

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience has left you feeling this way. While it’s difficult to read that you couldn’t identify positives, we value the honesty and take your concerns seriously. Your point about listening more closely to employees who are closest to our customers is an important one. We are working to create more open channels for two-way communication and decision making, and input like yours reinforces why this matters. We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective and will continue to focus on improving how we engage with and support our teams.

Pros

The paycheck never bounced.... that about covers the pros.

Cons

Political is an understatement - either you know the CEO and are part of his "friends and family" or you are on the outside. The people that developed this technology and put their all into it for years are not the ones running the show. Lack of integrity - If you are in this industry you know that data fabrication is about the worst thing you can do - I saw it frequently here and nothing was done when I brought it up. Shoddy development - Menu content drove everything here. It never mattered whether the assays worked or not. There was never a commitment to product quality. Cult like culture - Chanting etc. If you aren't inclined to blindly drink the Kool-Aid, this isn't the place for you. Dissenting voices - even when supported by mountains of data are drowned out by emotion.

Hello, Quanterix has been through quite a growth transformation over the past few years and that includes bringing in additional leaders as we have grown. These are serious accusations regarding data. We pride ourselves on the peer reviewed science we are doing and it would be very helpful if you can bring these issues directly to your manager and HR. Product quality is of the utmost importance and we are doing the work to improve on this every day. We also want all employees to feel included. Try out Bingo on Thursday nights to meet more people. We have a very engaged, passionate employee base.

Pros

Innovative technology with a potential to detect disease earlier than conventional methods. Rapid growth of the company and increasing popularity of the technology among researchers. Overall compensation and benefits are okay. Good work-life balance for some employees. Some very bright, hard-working and down-to-earth co-workers. Bagel Thursdays (all the "leaders" eat them but none of them sign up to bring them).

Cons

Textbook cronyism: Key positions in the company have been taken over by the CEO's cronies. Top management lacks accountability and trust in their employees: They cut corners and when things backfire they blame their contract engineering / manufacturing partners. They hire watchdogs (also the CEO's cronies) to scrutinize and question their employees' actions. Over-the-top propaganda and brain-washing meetings, in which employees are made to chant motivational slogans. Actions do NOT speak louder than words at Quanterix. If you want to be recognized for your contributions you need to embellish everything you do and literally broadcast it all the way up to the VP level all the time.
