Leaving was the best con

It’s a private company. HR is the bosses wife. That is a major red flag. If you ever need any help in a company you need a good independent HR. It’s naive to think you won’t be against a poor management decision - hours, wages etc. You can imagine the downsides. There’s a high turnover of staff and random sackings occur. There is a core of trusted people but the inner circle is very small. Experienced staff may join from other companies and find themselves gone within 2 months.
