Pros

Lax dress code, environmentally controlled, some coworkers

Cons

I've worked for several marketing departments and have been the sole designer/marketer for small companies for many years. This is *BY FAR* the worst company I've ever worked for. As a marketing director, I was given either no budget or limitless budget for any given advertising medium, but ultimately had zero say in what direction the marketing went, as that was determined by the CEO himself. My problem with that is when these marketing messages (followed under protest) proved ineffective, I was directly blamed to the point of being personally shamed (i.e., "if you were serious about this job, you would not only work the 55+ hours you're here, but you'd stay late during the week AND come in weekends"). I am familiar with manipulative/abusive tactics used to motivate employees, and I didn't stand for it. When finally, one of my paychecks was returned NSF, I was through with this company. Afterward, I ended up reporting them to the Kentucky Division of Labor because my last paycheck was being withheld until I came back and oriented my replacement. This is after I complied with writing a comprehensive e-mail detailing every ongoing marketing project I had worked with. This behavior shows the attitude that the leadership in this company has, and it's one of only selfishness, manipulation, abusive tactics, and all-in-all a hostile atmosphere. The fact that I lasted as long as I did (3 months) felt like an overwhelming achievement. The only thing that kept me sane were friendly fellow coworkers... some of which I keep up with to this day.

The least professional organization

Pros

The business opportunity has a lot of promise.

Cons

Just a complete absence of leadership and professionalism from the owner and senior executives. I witnessed frequent verbal abuse, candidates being manipulated into free work, white collar employees forced to clock in and out and work ridiculous hours, constantly changing priorities - even during the same day (every week was a new direction for the company), employees being fired over the phone or through email, paychecks bouncing because of mismanaged funds, ridiculous turnover - 50% in one year, being told that clients are idiots and should just do what we tell them, going months over-schedule on client projects, and most damaging, not delivering results to clients bottom line and blaming them for it, lying or intentionally obfuscating the location of off-shore teams that were based in Iran, watching a company car being towed away because the payments were never made, a complete and total absence of team building, employee development and internal communication, and the most disgusting break rooms and bathroom that were actually used for smoking by leadership. I could go on. The owner has a phenomenally poor reputation in the industry, with good reason.

STAY AWAY!

Pros

None at all, the CEO is the most narcissistic, delusional, condescending person who only cares about self. This place could be a case study on how a business shouldn’t be ran!

Cons

Everyday was a challenge, from the micromanaging to the overly long hours. From the yelling matches, the belittling of employees, to checks never being on time! To cameras literally being at every angle inside the office so you can be watched by the “CEO”! This “CEO” is lost in his own mind and treats everyone like they are very much beneath them. Any positive review for this company is more than likely fabricated! Go check out reviews for Innovations International, they are for this company! Obviously they tried to change the name to start fresh but seeing from reviews from the interview section here, nothing has changed. Stay away and find a role with a company who has a healthy culture, a company that values their employees like human beings, and a company who will always pay you on time while providing true opportunities for growth and development.
