Pros

Great people and co-workers; good benefits

Cons

Radd targets recent grads because they know marketing and writing career paths are difficult to get into right after college. The idea is wholly great, but the follow through is an immense problem. "Interns" are brought in at minimum wage and told that after 6 months, they'll be hired. The problem is that after about 3 months, you're doing the same level of work as the full time analysts, but you're still getting paid minimum wage. When your 6 month review finally does come, they offer you a relatively low number and only promise a $5K raise should you complete a full year. The work is monotonous and endless. If there is ever a problem, analysts get blamed the most even though they work the hardest and get paid the least out of everyone in that building. If you want to take time off, you still have to complete the work for the days you will be missing so really, you're just preemptively getting ahead. If you're sick and don't have time to plan for time off, they do not care and will most likely discipline you for not having the monthly updates done on time. To sum up; you feel like a warm body here. They need people to robotically enter updates for clients and they do not pay well for you to be that robot. There is no room for growth and most 'interns' begin job hunting again around month 2.

Pros

I loved working at Radd! Trusting in my strong work ethic, Danny and Bret hired me without any prior knowledge of the SEO industry. The training process was straight forward and I found their SEO strategy easy to learn. The heavy work load is easy to maintain with time management and organization. You are able to choose your hours; 7am to 3pm, 8am to 4pm, or 9am to 5pm. Those were the standard hours, but I am sure they would be willing to work with you if you wanted different hours. They were always generous with my vacation days. I went to Europe on two accounts for two weeks at a time and they never had an issue with me being gone (of course i had a bit more work to get done before i left and when i got back, but it was worth it!). The work can be monotonous at times, but they try to make it a really fun environment by providing games like corn hole, ping pong, and shuffle board, which are free to play at any time of day. They host parties - summer soirees and Christmas parties. They always had something planned on employee appreciation days - before the company got too big we went on trips to Big Bear, Las Vegas, and even Cabo! They also had really great snacks and drinks in the office at all times! When I moved out of San Diego they let me work remotely until I figured out my next steps. If I ever moved back to San Diego, I would work for them again in a heart beat.

Cons

I really don't have anything bad to say. Danny, Bret, Summer, and Christina were always so kind and generous.

Pros

- Since the company is still young, communication with upper management is frequent. Your ideas can quickly blossom into new company practices. - Solid team environment. Account management team works as one cohesive unit with a balance of strengths. - Strong training and continued guidance through the learning process. - Twice a year team trips, stocked fridge, bday celebrations(catered food, cornhole, shuffleboard, etc.) and oversized bean bags - Fair compensation + benefits!

Cons

- Heavy workload during transition to Account Management. Stay organized! - Growing company...if you like the ability to facilitate change in a fluid environment, Great! If you want something that is already established and fixed, this is maybe not for you.
