Pros

Good salary, flexible hours, expense reimbursement, and medical reimbursement (if not purchased through them). Able to meet and interact with all types of employees at the site you work at.

Cons

No room for growth. Management plays favoritism. If a contract ends abruptly, the company will try to prevent you from working for another competitor, even if this means you become bankrupt and broke!

Pros

Good starting salary and great benefits/reimbursements. Coaches will provide authentic help to those that need it. Family-friendly work schedule. Unless you work at central office, there is no one looking over your shoulders to do your job. Great coach-training programs.

Cons

Management definitely exudes a 'good ol' boys club' mentality. You will not advance unless you were hired for that specific reason or are personal friends with those in the central office. Senior leadership are micro-managers to middle management/supervisors. Supervisors have very little experience in managing subordinates and effectively dealing with clients, creating a low level of trust and respect amongst the coaches.

Pros

Independent work environment Must be self motivated or you could fall behind in work Easy going management within company Different sites have different requirements from coaches - this will vary among locations Good pay for the job being done Great use of sport science skillset

Cons

Minimal leadership for skillset development Management is overloaded No clear plan for growth and promotion Vacation package is dated and unrealistic-only given 2 week off (including vacation & sick time) can't take 2 weeks back to back.
