I have been working at Randox Laboratories full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Randox provide great opportunities to grow and develop your career. I started with Randox as a Placement Student and after graduating I have returned to Randox as a Full Time Marketing Executive and I have enjoyed every minute. I have been assigned with many different roles and responsibilities and I have learnt so much through my time at Randox, I look forward to further developing my career at Randox in the future.

There are opportunities to suit everyone especially students with the APEX program offering Summer Work Experience, Placements & Graduate Jobs all in one unique package. There are also many opportunities that allow staff to travel and meet with other staff, customers and distributors globally through many different channels such as business visits, sales conferences and corporate events like the Randox Health Grand National.

Randox is a fast paced and striving company, with the motto 'Dedicated to improve health worldwide' which is inspiring as Randox constantly develop new tests to bring to market and work hard to be the best in the medical diagnosis market, which is great to see from a local business which is constantly growing and now has over 1400 employees globally.

From my experience to date I have met and worked with great colleagues, whether that be team members, team leaders or more senior staff. I have also had the opportunity to speak to Dr.Peter Fitzgerald on many occasions which has always been a positive experience.

    Cons

I feel that there are minimal cons to a career at Randox. If you work hard, preform well, and take the opportunities available to you, you will be rewarded.

    Advice to Management

Keep working hard to grow Randox into the market leader in clinical diagnostics.

I worked at Randox Laboratories full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The pay was ok....... and that was it.

    Cons

Benifits are few and far between, minimal leave, no sick pay, no healthcare (from a health care company). General distrust of staff and backstabbing mentality. One of the most poisonous environments I have ever worked in.

    Advice to Management

If you spent more time improving conditions for employees instead of writing fake reviews to up your score, you might be able to attract and retain the kind of talent you need to grow the business. In the mean time your just playing at running a company....badly.

    Very cliquey
If management don’t like you, you’ll never be able to do a thing right

    Advice to Management

Learn to move forward, and learn to respect your staff! Remember that it is your staff who carry this company forward

I have been working at Randox Laboratories full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I wouldn’t really say there are any pros apart from gaining experience if you’re just leaving university. Don’t know why anyone would join Randox unless they’re desperate.

    Cons

Don’t trust a single person in that building, especially those really nice pretty girls that are oh so friendly because trust me they’re walking off and talking behind your back. Far too much childish behaviour with senior management not having a clue and telling the ceo what he wants to hear. I would love to give them some Home truths.
HR department don’t know what they’re doing. There is no understanding of basic HR management. It’s just hiring and firing and dictating for them. Also no sense of privacy if you approach them.
    Just don’t join Randox.

    Advice to Management

Learn to manage a large company. Treat your staff well and they will in turn treat your customers well.

Large company with not the best reputation for staff turnover but if you keep your head down and do what you need to do there shouldn’t be much bother

    Cons

Easy enough interview, some of the staff are nice

    Cons

I have been working at Randox Laboratories full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Money isn't terrible. But also a bad thing

    Cons

Most of working for Randox is a con. It's been good experience on paper to work in what I studied but if you can get it somewhere else, do. No phone signal. Seriously old fashioned. No progression opportunities. People seem to not take responsibility cause they are afraid of consequences.

    Advice to Management

Do you even know how bad it is?
