Pros

I cant think of anything nice.

Cons

I thought that it would be a good fit. Unfortunately, I realized early on that a lot of what was said were not accurate descriptions of the role, responsibilities team dynamics or the company. To put it candidly, Rebagg is a sweatshop - none of the core values that were emphasized actually exist. I am used to working in a collaborative work environment but I received no official on-boarding or training so the expectations of the role were never clearly defined. On several occasions I was publicly ridiculed and humiliated by my manager and other employees when I sought guidance and assistance on unclear directives and tasks. My assigned manager actually lacked the interest and the capacity to manage me. Considering that I had previously passed all of my interim progress tests, my termination for performance and productivity totally blindsided me. I was given a “performance warning” 4 days prior to my termination to which the ONLY feedback I received was “to work faster”. I will admit that I did struggle and there was bit of delay in accumulation but again there was a huge lack of support and guidance from my manager and team. The upper management literally enforces a "crack whip" mentally to which the pressures of these undefined performance quotas create a very hostile work environment. Literally it is the survival of the fittest and employees are unofficially encouraged (and rewarded) for shaming one another. I got the impression that no one really knows what it takes to be successful within the company. It's either, you're at the table or on the menu! The employees who have been with the company the longest, are the biggest bullies seeking constant validation of their position at the expense of others.

Pros

The few wonderful people I met along the way.

Cons

This was hands down the worst company I’ve ever worked for. At no point working here did I feel safe or stable because of how volatile the environment was. You are constantly being disrespected and abused, ESPECIALLY by “upper management”. The “leaders” of the retail department are a pair of unqualified delusional narcissists. Have absolutely zero idea how to manage, let alone keep a team. All they’re good for is micromanaging the video cameras in the store when they want to watch your every move (with the convenience of the app on their phones.) Nothing about this company is professional. I watched store directors/managers constantly get undermined and bad-mouthed(by upper management) in front of me. Co-workers fired mid shift in front of me. A specific “leader” of retail be extremely flirtatious and inappropriate to fellow female coworkers in front of me. Blatant racism and different treatment for people of color. You name it, I saw it! If you bring up any issues or concerns, you are gaslit and told “it’s the nature of the business.” The torture of working here is not even worth double the pay! That includes the “bonus” that never arrives on time and, of course, before taxes ;)

Pros

THERE IS NOTHING GOOD AT ALL.

Cons

EVERYTHING IS A CON! Management is DISGUSTING! They babysit everyone there and put extreme pressure on everyone for absolute no reason. Favoritism is on an ALL TIME HIGH. People literally have personal/sexual relationships with their colleges (i.e; Temp employees, Delivery guys, Office employees, etc). The Operations Specialist team are constantly being bullied and watched. Assigned computers are always looked into which includes and is NOT limited to; browsing and chat history. Everyone is in everyone’s conversation. Hours are scheduled for you to work up to 95-100 hours bi-weekly and you will only get paid for 80 hours. So you’re getting robbed of the 15-20 hours you’ve worked extra. Your breaks are only 30 mins or an hour and they deduct a lot of your time. They always give an ultimatum and if you need to leave early one day, it’s mandatory for you to make up the hours which is RIDICULOUS. You’re not allowed to show up late but management is allowed to do anything. You’re not allowed to say anything to management but they can tell you every and anything. Expect to feel uncomfortable the whole time you’re there and no one taking accountability. You can’t sit when you feel like you need to. You have to pay for stuff that may go missing, although everyone has touched it. There’s no HR management because the CEO doesn’t believe in one but the retail stores get one. The whole entire system is messed up and it will forever stay that way. Bribery and threats will be thrown at you as well. It’s nothing but a warehouse job in a building. Beware of recruiters because they sell you the position extremely well however, it’s absolute FALSE advertisement. DO NOT WORK HERE.
