Pros

- Decent product overall that performs very well in certain areas against competitors. - Some great logos in the customer base. - Very attractive compensation structure. - Undoubtedly a lot of money to be made if you land big deals.

Cons

- Toxic atmosphere between sales reps and sales management and so there's worryingly high turnover (both voluntary + forced). - Annual quotas can be raised at any time in the middle of a year. - Enterprise AEs are often given SMB opportunities while SMB AEs are given Enterprise opportunities. - Certain AEs get access to sales tools that are denied to everyone else. - Weekly meetings where the VP shows the entire company a list of names highlighted in red font of AEs who didn't hit 75% of their quota the previous quarter and who "will be fired if they don't hit 75% this quarter". - While claiming to value work-life balance, management have called some rep's irresponsible for submitting requests for PTO (which is meant to be unlimited) at the start of a quarter.

Pros

Some genuinely talented colleagues and decent pay.

Cons

The overall work environment is highly stressful and disorganized. Strategy and team structures seem to change every other week with little to no communication or long-term vision. Leadership often expects results at random and with unrealistic turnaround times despite the absence of clear plans. While the company promotes a culture of work-life balance but in practice there's a judgmental attitude there. Much of the time is spent in meetings, writing stuff down or outlining plans but very little actually gets executed in a strategic way and then there's rushing. It feels like the team is constantly reacting to chaos. Every day feels like waiting for the next fire drill which gets stressful after a while.

Pros

Pays a lot, great challenges

Cons

Company just had a layoff and CEO went on the Wall Street Journal touting business is doing great. Company is going to miss its revenue outlook from lack of comms b/w Sales and R&D. Downward spiral is coming. Several leaders and management cut in the past year. Several more long tenure leaders resigned. No one wants to be here anymore with the jerk, back-handed execs that exist and poor planning. Beware the Ballerina and the Bear. They get off on reading your Slack messages and love to hate on people behind their backs, even due to their own misguidance.
