- Occasional company lunch where you pay for your own food - Valuable learning experience on how not to be treated by a company - Bonus management positions if friends with Director
Cons
- No training - More work than devs can achieve - Deadlines plucked out of thin air that are non-negotiable - Empty promises of a better future - Staff in high positions that are dangerously underqualified - Development is not optimised, staff that have never done development are choosing your tasks, assuming they all have the same skillset - HR is only for the company, not you - tread carefully - Ancient development practices to satiate one long term developer - All complaints swept under the rug
