Pros
The people at Refined Data are very friendly and ambitious. The company is small ( 20 people or so ), so there's lots of opportunity to wear many hats, if that's your thing. The owners aren't afraid to spend money on software / hardware if there is a viable reason for doing so, but that may have changed. If you're lucky, you'll get a paid lunch at Mario's every now and then. You'll get a bonus, but don't expect much more than 2% of base, which won't be amazing either unless you're an ActionScript virtuoso!
Cons
Make no mistake, this is very much a startup company, although they've been around for a decade or so. The owners are ambitious, but could never seem to provide any solid company direction. The general theme seems to be to appoint people who they think can elevate the company, to some arbitrary C-Level position, even if it means going from a low level sales position straight to CEO! One such occasion, essentially caused their most prominent developers to leave, one after another. Process is lacking, and although the products are selling, most of the knowledge base left along with the primary product developers. I'm sure they're managing now, but expect to be lost with little direction.
