Don't join the cult, it's getting worse

Pros

Salary was in line with the market, most people are friendly, depending on what department you are in you will learn interesting things, but likely suffer from burnout. There is progression, but often it goes to who can shout the loudest rather than who is most competent.

Cons

Serious cult-like atmosphere ("don't think work-life balance, think work-life presence" - yikes), incompetent middle and senior management, increasing levels of micromanagement, backwards attitude to working from home. Turnover is *insanely* high, many people are leaving right now. Very few people stay more than a year or so, with management seemingly burying their heads in the sand. Unless this is your first job in infosec then I would avoid.

Pros

Shining new startup selling dreams until you discover the prison you just signed up for.

Cons

Not even sure where to start. Let’s say this if you are young don’t have a clue about the job market, you have no experience you won’t even feel exploited. BUT, if you already have some experience (here I have to mention the majority - 99% of RQ employees are all interns/recent graduates with 0 knowledge about a job culture, not to mention a healthy one. Toxic screams in every single aspect of the way decisions are made: the why, how etc all brainwashed by what the company calls “mindset” and “energy” without even realising the burnout and the mental health implications needed to recover from all of this. Sure by the time you “wake up” they already announced internal that somehow don’t need you anymore and you “decided to move in a different direction” all by being told you have no life. Your only purpose in life is RQ.

Pros

Decent pay and great commissions. Friendly, intelligent and helpful colleagues.

Cons

Incompetent management. Multiple internal calls a week with no real value, thats takes up valuable time to do real work. Micromanagement, showing no trust in employees. Little to no snacks/fun social activities etc.

Thanks for your feedback. We are fortunate to have great teammates who are helpful to one another and have fun together too, such as at our frequent together events, annual P3 events and community engagement activities. It's disappointing to hear that you did not have a good experience with management. Please reach out to feedback@reliquest.com so we can better understand your experience.
