Pros

They offer decent pay and bonus opportunity, but that comes with a lot of extra work hours and hardship. Everyone seems so nice at first and willing to help, but don't let that fool you because they will throw you under the bus and talk about you behind your back constantly.

Cons

Renew is a complete sink or swim environment, there is very little guidance and direction; if you are not an extremely organized and independent person, you will fail. They do not have much documentation, so there is a lot of self-learning involved. There is a huge lack of management skills, most of the time I felt like I was managing my manager. There is no structure or way of setting personal goals, so it is easy to feel stuck with no upward trajectory. They continue to let bad employees remain in their roles due to "tenure", so good luck trying to succeed even if you're an incredible employee. The communication within the company is terrible, most of the time I would hear about things from other co-workers before anything was announced; though a lot of things were left unsaid since there is no HR or structured way of doing things. They are still a very new company/start up going through a lot of changes, so things could eventually get better, but everyone I know who is still there is miserable. I could go on forever with regards to cons, these are just the highlights.

Pros

You can wear jeans to work... And you get "bonuses"... But you pay for that with your time over and over again - be prepared to work 50 hours a week for that "compensation"

Cons

Please do not work here. They are incredibly unprofessional and unethical. I cannot even tally how many instances arose where I questioned the legality of the moves that they made. Note that there is a potential suffrage from the legal standpoint and you may have to pay for that by being employed here. Management is nonexistent. There is no care regarding their employees and they push their responsibilities on to you instead of dealing with it head on, as ownership and management should. There is no direction - this company has less than 100 people and yet they still cannot provide any assistance to any of their employees - not from management and definitely not from ownership. They expect everyone to figure it out and shut their mouth or go home - even though they don't make expectations clear, they will still punish you. I have never in my life interacted with such disrespectful individuals - personally or professionally. There is no room for growth as well. They attempt to be a laid back environment which is something that appears to be a great benefit but it's more than that - they are so laid back that their employees suffer from lack of communication and leadership. There is an absolute atrocious pyramid of "leadership" (if you can call it that) that proves to everyone how incompetent they can be and how they truly feel. They favor some employees over others, they let things slide for certain employees over others, and the moment that you try to connect with any of the upper management team to make any sort of progress AND improvement, you are immediately written off and sent on your way - again, unless you have personal ties to one (or more) of the employees. This is a favorites game and they're running out. They have absolutely no respect for anyone but themselves and who they deem "worthy". And yet, they keep people employed that have not proved themselves to be hardworking while they degrade others who do try. Employee turnover is absolutely unheard of. I could go on for hours.

We appreciate you taking the time to write this review. We regret that you did not have the same great experience as the rest of the employees while working here. We've made great strides in how we attract, select, and retain talent. We are currently adding new levels of management to help us meet the rising demands of the business. We acknowledge that we have had some growing pains, but we are working through them all and improving our overall structure. These growing pains involved leaning on our great team to step up and assist each other while we continue to hire people. We value all of our employees, even those who are no longer with us, and we thank you for posting this review.

Pros

As with any company most of the employees were fun to work with.

Cons

Don't ask any questions and bow down to the owners and you will fit in just fine. Most of the people who work there hate their job. If you genuinely have an idea or suggestion to make something better they don't want to hear your feedback or opinion and if you give it to them they will tell you that you have a bad attitude. Their is NO career opportunity. Hope you are content with the job they hired you for. They definitely have their favorites in the office too.. Not all employees are treated the same way.
