Pros

Snacks and pizza on Fridays thats it.

Cons

I felt depressed working here. When it came to Friday I felt like I wanted to break down because of the dread of knowing my weekend would be spent thinking about coming back on Monday to micro-management, toxic people and being told the work I was doing wasn’t good enough. Furthermore to add insult to injury we had to create an excel spreadsheet with times of every tasks we did in a day. Everything was on the clock, I didn’t feel free working here and I tried to address my concerns to the director and he didn’t give me the time of day on the one day he was in, so I resigned. Feeling much happier now knowing I have my life back.

Pros

great people to work with

Cons

progression only happens if you sleep with a manager, a lot of favoritism within management.

Pros

Fully expensed company car and commission is good (only if you can earn it)

Cons

Very old school style of business, similar to the bad reputation that window salespeople receive. They expect you to sign a deal every day (at all costs), even if that means lying to the customer. They provide you with leads from the call centre in Milton Keynes, of which 80% are absolutely terrible. Usually between 2 and 5 leads per day. Most of the leads that you see either do not want to see you, are not interested in your product, would like to think about it, are not the decision maker, are still in contract with current provider, have huge cancellation fees with their current provider or already have great rates. So in a nutshell, you are up against it from the the get go. Support from my manager was very poor, he basically told me that I needed more (better quality) leads of which was out of my control. After 2 months of being there I was pulled into HQ to be told that they were dropping my basic salary by £5k per year but with a (so called) easier target. Instead of having to get 20 deals in a month I needed to get 11 deals in a month... sounds better right? Wrong. I was told in the next breath that I still needed to get about 20 deals a month in order to get the 11 (targeted) processed!! Absolutely ridiculous. I friend of mine who spent 10 years in the industry joined RMS and he had the exact same treatment and also found it very difficult to work for them. Would I recommend you to work for this company? NO. They let 3 people from my team go. I really don't feel like I got a fair crack of the whip with RMS, given more time, better support and more (quality) leads then I'm sure that I would have earned well.
