Salary in line with the market....

Cons

- Directors are not transparent with the information they share and unclear about goals. - Disorganisation - Toxic culture - Directors don't make time to discuss and address important issues - Directors are unable to manage workload, which means you'll often end up working way beyond midnight without being paid as an investment professional or top tier consulting firm - Directors are unable to answer basic questions about the job and don't support with adequate guidance - High turnover rate as everyone realises shortly after joining that the business doesn't provide real growth opportunity - Office coffee is undrinkable, although this is minor in comparison to the rest...

Pros

- Steep learning curve at the start with a structured training plan - Work is stimulating - High level of independence

Cons

- Toxic work culture and management - Management will come back on promises they made, even if these have big consequences - Management will let you fall the second you are not in line and question them, not even considering personal circumstance - very high turnover in analyst and senior analyst level as no growth opportunity beyond this. - Current consultant and directors have been in place for ages, and will do anything to stay here - for example make junior work over time or present their ideas as there own without any credit - As no growth in position the pay will also stay low

Pros

I've been working with RMS for more than 5 years in 2 different offices, currently in London. Some of the pros: - work is intellectually stimulating and engaging, you'll always be able to find a new challenge. - high level of independence and ownership (varies slightly based on position, experience and team, but overall there is very little micro management) - variety of tasks, allowing to develop a wide range of skills and experiences (e.g. data and analytical skills, client management, presenting in front of top level management, engaging with business owners, training and team management...) - good career opportunities within the company and competitive benefits package - most importantly, we have a great team. Everyone is really hard working, but there is also a lot of room for fun and jokes. Hierarchies are very flat, people are helpful and supportive, and many of my colleagues have become really good friends.

Cons

- it's a small team so there's a lot of responsibility on everyone and things can get a little busy at times - turnover has been sometimes high in the past, which can take its toll in a small team. It has stabilized a bit recently though - being a satellite office has some minor challenges (main office is in the US) due to time difference and requires more effort on communication
