I have been working at Rockwell Collins full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Wide ranging of experience for employees

    Cons

Dis-organised management structure doesn't allow people to develop and shine. No training or development schemes to help people thrive.

    Advice to Management

Develop staff in a more effective manor. HR need to work on keeping the staff and stop losing experienced good engineers.

I worked at Rockwell Collins full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Strong leadership team with excecution skills that can back the vision. The expectation on the company and it’s subsidiaries is high always making for challenging weeks and never eases off. The next big challenge is always near and keeps the teams motivated. Inter-team relations and support towards the milestone is probably the best in industry.

    Cons

Emotional intelligence can at times be lacking and support for line managers during challenging times is often forgotten. Stress is real and can affect decision making.

    Advice to Management

    Read between the lines

I worked at Rockwell Collins full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

First class facilities, colleagues, company ethics, vision and products. Work life balance was also good.

    Cons

In the commercial department there was little to no career progression, over-complicated processes and some roles had below average pay. Advice to Management

Value employees correctly and pay them accordingly, also try to develop existing employees in terms of career progression. Have a look at job bands and tailor them to what job roles actually do and what expertise is needed to do the job.
