Pros

Great overall mission. Highly skilled staff, easy to work with. Beautiful space.

Cons

Disorganized office space. Poor communication from ownership. Not open and flexible to new directions. Managers were not able to actually manage anything consistently and effectively due to constant interfernece and re-direction from ownership.

Pros

You get complimentary services (massage, facials, acupuncture) as part of your training.

Cons

At the risk of sounding like a disgruntled former employee, please heed this warning. No health insurance offered. Highly dysfunctional, selfish, and greedy management. 15+ people quit in the brief time I was there. Including a pregnant woman who was forced to work on her maternity leave at the threat of losing her job. They pride themselves in being a positive space for health and healing but treat their employees terribly. CEO Pat is two-faced and passive aggressive. She will pretend to be your advocate, someone who will support your career endeavors, and then do everything she can do to tear you down. I would continue but it's not worth my energy. Please spare yourself the headache of getting entangled with Root. Look up any former employee of Root on LinkedIn, chances are you wont hear anything positive.

Pros

Great co-workers are a true joy to be around. Clients are pretty loyal to individual practitioners. Pay is middle of the road. Employee development appointments provide opportunities to get to know fellow practitioners and get treatment.

Cons

Not enough enough pay for how high end they charge. Poor retention and communication in middle management and disconnect from upper management. Difficult to make change happen. Hard to schedule meetings or get raises.
