Pros
This is a good place to get some work experience fresh out of college. There is a lot to learn about the industry and you can acquire a broad spectrum of experiences since it is a small company. The atmosphere is pretty casual and the facility is well-lit and clean. It can be a lot of fun interacting with some of the donors, and core staff is really easy-going and entertaining. Pay can be a bit above entry-level lab pay, pretty good health/dental insurance.
Cons
Scheduling can be difficult to manage. Being open on Saturdays presents a challenge to the normal work week. In terms of upward mobility, the company is pretty top-heavy and there isn't really much room to grow, even though the company is expanding. The work can feel repetitive, but overall, this is a good stepping stone. Oh, and no retirement.
