I have been working at Selfridges full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Handy to have discounts over all departments to purchase essentials.
Enormous environment, constantly changing always something new in store.
Easy schedule to work around with.
    Mostly self managed.
Great first step to progress into luxury retail.

    Cons

Complicated work relationships as lots of staff members.
Support are minimal from management because of title.
Equivalent to a junior stock assistant.
Most departments are mostly on basic developments, not enough structure.

    Advice to Management

If solving issues can be addressed and credited for the right people, then it would not cause as much of a turnover in leavers.
Too invest and assign more people for higher positions, in order to provide interest development and career progressions.
