    Discount, friends, experience, friendly environment, accommodating with university studies, builds confidence, get to work with brands you are passionate about

    Cons

    CHTISTMAS TIME is very draining and miserable and you’re likely to come across the occasional manager you don’t work well with but they’re forever moving about and changing so it never lasts very long.

    Pros

    A good experience in dealing with customers and knowing how customer experience work. Very luxury and glamorous environment . You will definitely make friends

    Cons

    Agressive sales ladies. The company does not give any discounts for their employees unless you are in a managerial position

    Advice to Management

    Should definitely focus more on their employees and less on their clients. Should be more firm with their clients and have a clear process to avoid mistakes

    -35% Employee discount! (only if you work with Selfridges owned and are not a concession based)
    - Opportunities, Colleges and friends for life you will meet
    -Selfridges are always hosting career based events i.e one being paid volunteering days,Linkedin tips etc. TAKE THESE OPPORTUNITIES especially if you're a student
    -Easy to Progress within Selfridges, variety of brands means there's always a job around in different departments either for you or a friend.

    Cons

    - Lack of support from management; rarely see your managers so an issue may take longer to resolve.

    Advice to Management

    Don't neglect sales floor staff for staff on higher positions (or status)they are the key to any store thriving, as long as they're happy sales will too reflect!
